Principal-led, and honest about it.
We build the team around the work. Specialists we know, and would put our name behind.
Dominic Brough
Founder
Dominic Brough founded Gallon after twenty-five years in operations, technology and deals across the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
He started in financial services and found the platforms more interesting than the products. That took him to the vendor side, where he worked across consultancy, outsourced services and operations, and built a shared services centre in Bangkok from a three-month proof of concept into an operation running around the clock for institutional clients.
He returned to the UK to work alongside the chief executive through a period of significant change, including the sale of the business, then moved into programme delivery for global banks and asset managers, and later into change management at a London asset manager.
He joined PwC Deals in London in 2019, advising private equity and corporate acquirers across financial services, consumer, industrials and healthcare, before moving to PwC Thailand to do the same across Southeast Asia.
The thread through all of it is the same. He is comfortable in the gap between the boardroom and the delivery team, and fluent in both directions: turning technical reality into commercial consequence, and commercial intent into something a team can actually build.

The name is older than the firm.
In 1851 a grocer called William Gallon opened a shop in Leeds, in the north of England. By the 1920s the business had grown to around three hundred shops. Morrisons took it over in 1970.
It was our family’s business, and the name left the family two generations ago. We have brought it back.
